Terms of Service

Last updated · 11 June 2026
Not legal advice. This document is provided for transparency and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel for your specific circumstances.

These terms govern your access to and use of Thiron. By using the service you agree to them.

1. The service

Thiron performs passive, external security scans of web domains and returns a report of externally observable findings with remediation guidance. Thiron is an informational tool; it does not guarantee that a domain is secure or free of vulnerabilities.

2. Authorisation to scan (important)

You may only submit domains and assets that you own or are explicitly authorised to test. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have permission. Scanning systems you do not control may violate law; you agree to indemnify Thiron against claims arising from your unauthorised use.

3. Accounts & payment

Some features require payment. Prices, plans, and billing terms are shown at checkout. One-time scans and scan packs are charged once; monitoring is a recurring subscription you can cancel anytime before the next renewal. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Taxes may apply.

4. Acceptable use

Your use is also governed by our Acceptable Use Policy. You must not misuse Thiron, including using it to attack third parties or to circumvent the scan's safety controls.

5. Intellectual property

Thiron and its content are owned by us and our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. Reports we generate for you are yours to use within your organisation.

6. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service is error-free, that findings are complete, or that acting on them will prevent any security incident.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thiron is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using Thiron at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.

9. Governing law & changes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. We may update these terms; the current version is posted here with the date above. Continued use means you accept the changes.
